School Newsletters
Each year the Preble County Solid Waste Management District office distributes approximately 20,000 newsletters to our schools. This newsletter is provided to the students in an effort to better educate students on the importance of recycling. Our goal is to teach the children environmentally friendly habits now, so they will continue these habits throughout their lives.

Simply Green
Simply Green was established by the Preble County Solid Waste Management District employees in 2008. The publication is featured in our county’s local newspaper on a quarterly basis. Simply Green gives our adult audience simple tips to “Go Green” in their homes along with helpful tips on gardening, composting, and instructions on how to make your own household cleaners with ingredients most of us keep in our kitchens!
